LAD Training Group

Ryan Trautman: Owner/Instructor

Ryan is a combat veteran with over 18 years of experience in the Army. He has served In roles as a Cavalry Scout, Infantryman, and a Military Intelligence professional. He  Desires to utilize his experience and passion to train people how to respond in a high- Risk environment or situation. Is a Maryland State Police certified instructor and NRA instructor in all pistol and rifle Disciplines. He continues to attend training due to the belief that a good instructor must Be a continuous student.

Seth Laufer: Instructor

Seth is an Army combat veteran who has extensive experience in several martial arts Disciplines including Modern Army Combatives, Kickboxing, Judo, Tae Kwan Do, Aiki Jiujitsu, Krav Maga, Karate, and Hapkido. He has trained students in self-defense focused on real world scenarios with both weapons and hand to hand combat. He was a licensed private investigator who has trained with the FBI, DHS, and DoD in surveillance, counter-surveillance, and surveillance detection methods.
